Recently, I have been hunting a lot more than fishing but I had a free afternoon Thursday so I took the chance to get out with one of our players. The kid is an absolute STUD in every way. He’s going to be a great football player but he also out-fished me (not much of an accomplishment 
), he took better pictures than me, and he appeared to be a better caster than me
. I took pictures of his fish with my phone and he did the same with his. I won’t post any of his fish because he’s a rare 15 y/o with ZERO social media so I’m not going to be the one to start that. He already has a drift boat (which he paid for at 14) so I’m sure the next event he will humble me in will be rowing.
Anyway, fishing was decent and ALL the bugs are out! Everything is way ahead this year. The big bugs have been going for a week now…Salmonflies, Golden’s, Green Drakes, all the “June” hatches are happening now.
