MyFlyVise - Our new integrated fly pattern platform

It's fun building something of our own vs this forum which is a pre-done software we pay a license fee for. The forum works well enough, but limited in what I can customize without risking breaking the whole system. So having something I built from scratch makes it so much easier to basically do whatever I want with it.

This really is cool! It's exactly what I was hoping for when weaving through all the great fly patterns on the forum. Now I just have to learn how to use it. I have an excuse to hoard even more materials now.

I tried to make it as simple as I could but let me know if anything isn't clear.

Made an update tonight that was long overdue - when you click on a fly in the feed, it would just bring up a larger photo and a "view full page" button. Which was just an unnecessary step. So now when you click on a fly, it brings up a quick modal with all the fly's info you can view without going to the next page. I think it works much smoother and makes it easier to view more info.

(this is only on desktop for now)

Good change!

Another tweak that might be useful if possible is to have short captions on the photos so they don’t need to be explained in the description. Just a thought.

do you mean for each individual photo, like if a fly has 4 photos, give each one a caption?

That was quick. Good work!
