Not acid rain, but chuckled at the "the average rainbow trout is about 20-30 inches long and around 8 pounds" finishing joke. Wished they fact checked that, because if it's true, I am moving to Montana too, to dedicate my life to fishing for larger than average rainbow trout.
In Montana you brag about 2lb fish, meanwhile you catch 50 1/2lbers. Once in a bluemoon someone catches a 6lb brown or bull, takes 40 pictures while keeping it out of water for 10 minutes fondling the sh*t out of it.
I love trout fishing in MT.
My son lives in Helena and there is some mighty fine fishing around there.
The Black foot and tribs have given me some awesome times.
