Mop fly material. One is mottled natural? Not sure of the exact fly fishing name. The other has 3 different colors. Each has 220 yards/$9.99. Considering at a fly shop this is? $4,$5 for one or two yards? A bunch of different colors, but these 2 looked fishy. Wattaya think?

I use mitten like things for car washing that have mop fly nodules all over them. Cut one off and tie it on! Still haven't caught a fish on one, though.

Lol - same here! Although some of our Mayfly kids were killing it with mop flies one day last year

I use our bath mat.

You can buy the same at many craft stores, lots of beads and other useful materials.. For me I don't go to Walmart at all.. I'm willing to pay more than support them.. just my opinion though! Tie on!

I'm sure those colors will work and adding beads, legs, hackle etc the variations are almost endless. Mops can be a killer lake pattern. I've been watching stores' cleaning aisle for materials in deep brown and black....definitely not popular color for cleaning mits/mops....I'll have to check out that blanket years.

PS. on further examination, that Bernat yarn may be twisted and not have the central core like the materials in Post 6.

One more for the "carwash mitten" things. You get a billion of those mop bodies for a few bucks.
