Moose Hair

A year of two ago I started a thread about unusual fly tying materials. I had forgotten that I fished with a guy that had a fly attached to his hat, the wing of which he claimed to be from his girlfriends pubic hair. I thought he was kidding but no he was serious, but because he was married we had to keep it secret. Was he the only one? I bet not.

How did it fish?
 
I have to admit I had to google "merkin" to find out what it was. Had to laugh. A great thing about fly fishing is you learn something new every day although it leads in strange directions at times.
