I'm heading towards the Missouri in a few weeks. We'll be staying in Craig, and plan to hire a guide on Day 1, and then float on our own on Days 2 & 3.

Any suggestions for guides, flies, beats or lodging?

Bring warm clothes. Good hot tea beats cold beer except at the end of the day of great fishing.

I've been to Craig several times to fish the Mo. I booked guides through Linehan Outfitting: https://www.fishmontana.com/guided-...fork-river-fly-fishing-outfitter-guided-trips. There are three shops in Craig with guide services. I've stayed in three Airbnb rentals while there. One was right on the river perhaps two or three miles downstream from Craig. The best one was a nice house up in the pine forest and the rates were reasonable. I agree with @Porter2, bring WARM clothes.
