Mixed day

Took the boat out to the salt with @jasmillo to start the day with some cutties. Found a bunch but mostly little guys, still god to see them at the familiar haunts though.

Then went to a nearby lake to fish for trout and bass. The boat got a slam, perch, trout, SMB and LMB between us.

I caught like 3 pounds worth of those little largemouths… .

Hmmm…I think lingcod opens next weekend. Crossing my fingers for calm winds my 17 Whaler can navigate without severe sphincter tightening .

OMG, did someone say small bass! That LMB is perfect! I love running into a gang of those out on a lake.
