Memories That Last

I wish I had memories if my father like that. But his idea of fun was gambling, drinking and sleeping around with his friends wives.
River for a back yard, world class anglers as neighbors and he barely fished.

Cherish whoever you have to spend time with outdoors..

Many of my fondest memories were with my Dad teaching me how to flyfish for trout and steelhead on the OP rivers.

I was able to pay it back in his waning years by taking him salmon and trout fishing in BC.

Time is shorter than most of us believe. Take advantage as often as you can and create even more special memories.

Great trip! My dad went with us on Deschutes float trips into his mid-80s. My brother-in-law and I have continued the tradition. Dad passed away at 92 but I have very fond memories of those trips and upland bird hunting with him.
