Recently received the sad and surprising news that Mark Melton has passed on. For those that don't recognize his name, Mark was a fantastically talented macro photographer and identifier of aquatic macroinvertebrates on this website and others. If any suspect me of exaggeration, just take a look at a sample of his work on BugGuide. Rest in peace, my friend.

Very sad indeed. I truly enjoyed his posts. He always shared his techniques and readily shared his knowledge too. We can all remember him by his legacy ---> his highest quality macro photography and identification of aquatic macroinvertebrate.
