Life of the Party
These are found in the Russian River in California. The larvae are found in sandy areas interspersed with large cobbles. The larvae burrow through the sand. The pupae are found on the sides and tops of cobbles. They range in size from 5-11 mm as larvae and 7-11 mm as pupae.
