Kansas was preseason #1, guess that's why they play the games.

My Ducks managed to work themselves back into the rankings at 23. Nice win today against Indiana, but Michigan State is next and that is a much tougher team. Win or lose they'll still be in the big dance. GO DUCKS !

Ducks are in no matter what...wondering if they like the BIG for basketball....some decent teams in the conference historically...

This Kansas vs Arizona Big 12 Qtr Final game is any indication, March Madness is gonna be a barn burner!!
 
The Dookies #1 Cooper Flagg sprained his ankle last night and it looks like he might be done for the current ACC tournament. They’re hoping for he’s OK for the Big Dance. Bad deal if he’s not.

I really like the B1G officiating. Very few "ticky tack" fouls called, as opposed to what the Pac12 officials saw and administered.

Well, so far it has rained like hell, blown like stink, snowed again and will again tomorrow and this morning was down to 22 degrees again. It has cancelled our trip to Coffeepot to beat the rattlesnake bloom and what was once 27'' of snowpack has contributed to high mud season as water flows across the frozen ground instead of into it. March is easy to be mad at because it taunts us with indications of spring but in reality is the messiest month of the year here on the Frozen Tundra. Piles of dirty snow abound, every vehicle looks like it hasn't been washed for years and the trees stand naked bereft of leaves. Not a pretty sight but soon to be blindingly green and lush with birds singing and flowers blooming and turkeys mating in the front yard. It will be worth the wait.

My new calendar gives us 2 months of May and 2 months of October and eliminates January and February altogether. With that I could do March ''standing on my haid!" 😁
 
Why do I have a gut feeling that it is going to great March Madness ? I just hope it is true. Lots of really good teams our there. I hope the Zag's do better than they are ranked.

I still haven't watched a single C B-ball game. That's ok though, cause my brackets sucked when I did watch a lot too.
 
Duke 1 seed East, Florida 1seed West, Houston 1 seed Midwest, Auburn 1 seed South…

I like Mark Few and the Zags but really gave Georgia some consideration until I learned their home game win vs Florida was one in which they gave up a 25 pt lead and were down 2 near the end of that game but made some 3's to pull it out. I'm going with the Zags in this one. I'm in a pool at the watering hole that I've participated in for years. Never came close to winning and sometimes I'm done after the first round. But it's fun.
 
I think there may be only one or surprises in the first round…i also think the Zags eek out a first round win…
