My solution to your question has 2 solutions. If your line always coils (Rio full sinks coil a lot) several days before I regularly fish I take all my line out and loop it around 2 railings on my deck which are 25 ft apart. This removes the lines memory. Then when I am out fishing I never strip the fly line in one pile, instead I lay the line from the left side of the stripping basket to the right side. Three strips one side and 3 strips to the other.
