Magnification

Does anyone use one of those gooseneck magnifying glasses? If so, how has your experience been and what diameter/magnification has worked well?

I use the Norvise 3x magnifier/led lamp and do like it especially for small nymphs & drys...however, I did not know when I bought it that it mounts to the Norvise thread post...which mounts to the Norvise base...at first I was just going to fabricate a post for the light, but ended up buying the norvise base and post and it works well for me.

I wear a jeweler's visor. I think that works great, you don't have to worry about a magnifying glass getting into your way of your hand or materials.

I bought one earlier this year and have used it multiple times.

Mageyes - mine came with several different magnification lenses and I use the strongest one. They are available all over.
