MA-13 is temporarily closed to salmon fishing effective May 15 pending federal action. Here's the scoop:

Marine Area 13 (South Puget Sound) temporarily closed to salmon fishing

Action: Closes salmon fishing.Effective date: May 15, 2025, until further notice.Species affected: Salmon.Location: Marine Area 13 (South Puget Sound) encompasses all waters south of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.Rule: Salmon fishing closed.

Would this cause any issues for SRC from the beach? Seems like it might be a little hard to explain to a Warden.
 
It should open back up shortly once NOAA approves the LOAF. This has happened before. As mentioned, continue to fish for searun cutts.
