Lanyards and zingers are complete shit in saltwater. They just don’t last long.
My old nets been out there somewhere for about 10 years due to a broken lanyard. Maybe it will school up with yours.

Sorry pal, I took a look but I’m afraid your net is off to the great beyond.
Edit - and I see my thumbs down is sideways. Gonna fish now instead of try to fix that…
