There are some less glamorous waters in Nori that are incredibly fun to fish this time of year! Brownies headed upstream to make little brownies!

I watched the Browns spawn on the Beaverhead in November one year. There was one big male that kept driving others away from a nest he was fertilizing. I sat and watched it for a while. Interesting for sure.

The OP was talking about Brown Trout so I just felt I had to add this. Besides there are more brown trout in Idaho and Montana than there ever was in Washington.
