During covid that did end up being an issue for some, and it can be a problem for accounting, but I havent ever heard someone not wanting to sell them on account of those issues.

My experience is a decent portion never get used, and most that do end up spending more than the card itself, so theres new cash in.

If you want to give them 100 bucks, buy 5 20$ cards and give them to friends. Thatll turn into several hundred without a weird hit on the books.
