I was able to get up to a mountain lake recently.
Arrived at the lake at sunrise.
Fished my way down the lake with limited success. I throat sampled a fish. The sample showed it was eating size 50 no see ‘em midgey things.
When I see that type of sample, I break out the booby flies.
The fish were hammering the booby fly so much, you would of thought the throat sample should have looked like this

These were the hot flies-
I caught some nice fish on this trip.
