This week, I'll be staying on the north shore of Lake Crescent out past PA. Plan to bring a float tube and my lake lines.

Any tips or advice for fishing in that area?

Thnx

Fished it a few times. Always had my best success on a full sinking line and dark flies like black buggers, though I did catch some fish on a solid white bugger.
Never fished the evening but I bet there is some dry fly opportunity. I’d definitely take a floater. Was driving by there once on a non fishing trip and the fish were going crazy on white moths, spruce moths I assume.
Good luck and have fun.

I was there for this years opener June 1st, totally by accident. My wife arranged a Discovery Trail E-bike trip w/ the inlaws. We stayed in the log cabin resort RV park. I always have my fly rod in the RV. I did surprisingly well just bank fishing the ledges in front and around the resort. It drops deep quick. Compact sink type 6 and 9 both worked stripping olive orange gold seal bugger and black as stated above. Very few risers then. If I had my pontoon boat, could have covered lots more area. Watch out! The wind can come up quick. Lucked out and had beautiful weather and the bike trail was awesome. Good luck!
