Lake Chelan and nearby ff options

Just Hatched
The family and I are staying at an air bb on Lake Chelan this holiday weekend (4 days). I'm thinking about bringing along some fly gear just for some side fun in case there are some opportunities to chase some fish.

I won't have a lot of time to sneak away, so am wondering if it is worth fishing in Lake Chelan or nearby waters. I will have a jet ski, so I could get out in the lake a bit for some casting to rising fish or trolling with a sinker line.

Is it worth my time, or should I just surrender to family time and be "fully present"?

It was earlier in the year then when you’ll be there, but we caught some cutthroat off a dock while staying there. You could see fish swimming around. Nothing big but might be worth bringing a few trout flies as well.

The smallies are worth the effort.
I don't know where you will be staying.
From the public beach on the north side of the lake in town there is planted stump piles and other structure that the smallies love to hang around.
Fish big sinking leaches and buggers.
I have had good times using root beer jigs on spin gear
