SOLD Korkers Darkhorse wading boots

I've never had Korkers before. I have a couple questions.

One, do size 10 Korkers fit a size 10 foot with waders, or do you need to size the boot up to fit the neoprene bootie?

Two, are all Korkers soles interchangeable, or do you need to be careful to get the right sole for the boot?

Thanks!

Zak,

I've had 3 pairs of Korkers, with the current pair being Darkhorse. My Korkers have always been size 11, one size larger than my shoe size. That's provided me room for heavier socks in the Spring/Fall and given me room for an orthotic when my plantars fasciitis acts up.

The Omnitrax wading soles are interchangeable between different models of wading boots. You just have to get the size correct. I have a pair of size 11 rubber soles from my 2011 Korker Metalhead boots that fit my current 2025 size 11 Darkhorse boots.

Heck of a deal for Darkhorse boots. And at the end of the day, my 68 yr old back really appreciates the BOA laces!

Zak, if you can figure out a way to try these on (I don't know how close you are to @Ernie), but in my experience with Korkers is that it depends. I typically have used a size 11 (I wear size 10 street shoe) in Korkers and they've worked fine. But I also recently purchased a pair of the stealth sneakers in a size 10 for wet wading for carp and trout. Guess what? they're great with waders too! (I have to wear thick neoprene wet wading socks to get them to fit better)....go figure. Anyway, to make a long story longer, they may fit great or they may not....lol

That is a good deal. My last pair of Korkers, "Raptors," fit true to size ie: same as my street shoe. They may be tight for Zak? What part of Seattle are you in Ernie?

I am 1 block from the Burien border in Seattle, but I generally meet people at the Krispy Kreme parking lot 2 blocks south of T-Mobile Field.

I've had this model Korkers for several years. They're comfortable, easy on/off with the BOA and the interchangeable sole is useful (I use the alum. bars). I've used in fresh and salt water with no problems.
