Kokanee?

anyone here target Kokanee flyfishing? Could not keep them off the chromie/red chiron's today up on the volcano lake, most 14" to 16" with a couple of bigger ones. Thinking I'll bring my 4 wt next trip...and a cooler.
Caught loads of them up there in the past, and can confirm that they really like red ribbed chromies. Never any that big though, must be a good year for them.

The secret trick is to use a really shiny set of forceps clipped to your point fly to set the depth of your bobber. After the fourth or fifth time the fly right above to forceps got eaten, I really considered just leaving them attached as a sort of flasher! I think that would upset the fly fishing purists though…. 🤣
