Fire has reached and crossed the Klickitat river near the town of Lyle.
Wind is ripping pretty good and could cause the fire to race up the canyon
Go now evacuation up to Pit bridge and the town of Lyle. Town of Klickitat
is be packed and ready to leave. Air quality in Goldendale is very bad my
home is just outside The be ready evacuation zone.. I am not in much fear here
But sure praying for Lyle and Klickitat.

Man that's scary.

Much better weather today. Cool and cloudy with decent humidity and lighter winds. Hopefully they can put a dent in it over the next couple days.

The air support yesterday was very impressive. 4 fire boss and 2 super scoopers working in rotation constantly dropping water. 2 big bombardier type planes and one bigger 747 looking plane dropping orange retardant. 2 blackhawks with hoses hitting hot spots. Scary part is the fire was so broad it didn't seem like they could do much more than kind maybe guide the front line away form certain areas. Massive respect for those fire boss pilots, they would really drop into it then bank hard and get right back on the river to refill. Seems like they were doing drops every couple minutes.

@Rob Allen let us know how you are doing if you get a chance. I'm not far away if you need any help.

I'm out in Goldendale it would take some hot very windy conditions to get to me. I have a co worker in Klickitat I'm more concerned for her and the river.
