Just a little bit high

If you know where to go, you can always find fishable water. I didn't waste anytime on the wet side of the state to came up empty handed when fishing skinny water. My favorite thing to do was explore waters to fish. I have got the head waters of the S/F Skykomish learned pretty good. Spent a lot of time driving the back roads of Snohomish Co.. You would be surprised as to what you can find by looking at a map and then actually going and seeing what the back country looks like. If I was still there I could show where to catch fish on the wet side of the state.

But you need to bring your own rock.
 
I catch 7" trout here in late August. Just sightseeing today. Clue is that it was 93 degrees in Leavenworth today!

You turned me on to some nice small water around the NF Sky when I first moved here and I'm forever grateful!
 
I'll help anybody out. People new to fly fishing, need help. But how I give out info is going to change. I used to write a book on where to go. Now I'll just point out areas on maps and you can go look or not. Typing is not my strong suite. I have Essential Tremors. I've had them all my life, but now I shake pretty good. And it effects my typing.

I've done most of my skinny water fishing in most of the "S" rivers. A little over on the dry side. But not much.

This is who I am. I have had a few books that pinpointed these rivers. I just expanded the areas. You can find a lot of skinny water doing just that.
