Jackson Hole...

...actually no one there sez "Jackson Hole". My son lives in Jackson, WY and the fam got together for some fun adventures in Teton NP and nearby.

Included were a float trip on the Snake right in Teton NP. Amazing scenery and rather meager catching. My son working a big dry.


I also got in a trip up to a small creek tributary of a tributary. Miles of bad road, high altitude and a long hike to get were the fish are dumb and gorgeous.



Those native cutties are in full fall colors and more than happy to rise to a dry fly. Purple Haze for the win!
