Fished for about 3 hours starting at dawn this morning on a nearby creek. Dozens of fish 10"-16" came to hand, mostly rainbows. As I was floating out to my vehicle, I sighted a couple of risers as a BWO hatch was imminent. I stopped to toss a bugger to the rising fish to see what might be about. To my delight the last fish of the day was this butter yellow brown that pushed the 18-19" mark. Redds are showing up in some riffles as this is an early spawning creek for browns, but this buttery fellow shows off he was ready to rock.
