It's always the ground wire

Good thing I hitched up the trailer yesterday instead of doing it this morning as I was ready to leave. I always check the trailer lights after plugging them in. And they didn't work. Ground wire was broken. Simple, just strip off a bit of coating and re-attach. No go. The ground wire broke or crumbled every time I tried to remove some of the plastic coating. Ended up making a run to O'Reilly's to buy a pigtail and re-did the front end of the wiring harness. Sheesh, if it's electrical it just can't be easy. Nearly 3 hours later and all was good, and I went in for dinner. Made it to Missoula today with no issues. Hope the rest of the trip - and the fishing - goes well.

Safe travels & have fun, SG.

Camped on the Yellowstone two nights ago. Water seemed a bit high and turbid from runoff, but not too bad. Not much snow visible, so maybe not too much more runoff??

I'm at Henry's. Should be at Palisades Monday - late morning.
