Wanted ISO Lamson Lightspeed Series IV Size 3 (8wt) Reel

I recently purchased a Lamson 8wt CenterAxis setup because it was my first saltwater rod, and a good deal.

I really like the rod and reel, but one thing I didn’t think about when buying it was that I would like to be able to take the spools off and use them on a different reel/rods.

I believe that the spools are compatible with the Lamson Lightspeed Series IV in a Size 3 for the 8wt (3.75” Spool Diameter).

If anyone has a used or new version of this reel, I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for either new or good+ used.

If you don't have any luck on here try Sierra Trading Post , they have the Lamson Liquid 7+, which is the same size as the old size 3 for a 8 weight . They are 69.99 , obviously the spools are not interchangeable ,but still a good reel for the price . I have a couple of the Liquids , IMO just as good a reel as the Litespeed ,and I have a couple of those . The finish on the Liquids are just not as durable . Good luck with your search .
