I think I dont have much of an opportunity to use it here unfortunately. Small water that holds fish is permanently closed here.

My wife is from walla walla and I have highly avoidable inlaws so I am familiar to an extent with the water there. I see how it would be efficient and fun in picking apart the rivers in the hills over there.

Now that the inlaws moved to tri cities I really ought to spend some more time in your neck of the woods...

Okay guys, many members here remember the last 'chef' on board. That was his handle, and he was a live wire newbie with a thousand questions. Just driven to progress. He set up a few outings with coffee and cookies at the launch. Just say'n.😉 Welcome!

Newbie? I've been flyfishing and tying flies for 25 years. I'm down for a little hazing but ok... Maybe you need some cookies, I can make that happen seeing in that I'm a pastery chef. I'll bring the cookies and meet you at your secret spot.

'Chef' was a newbie, and brought that kid in a candy store vibe. I wasn't trying to profile you sir. I'm sorry you took it that way. Truth be told, after the first get together, I often brought the cookies.🙂

It wasn't hazing, it was celebration. Again, Welcome! Hope to fish with you sometime!

I wanted to ask that question too! Then i thought well, maybe it’s the name of a certain type of fly that he ties! By the way @Pink Nighty , that is a very nice introduction.

Edited to add…Oh it see it was the name of a fly! I hadn’t read all of the posts before posting.

No worries, cookies might not be a good idea though, coffee yes, I constantly have to worry about my weight when surrounded by treats all the time.
