Inflatable boat deals at Costco

No idea if anyone here even watches this show…

So, interestingly enough, these boats may have ZERO warranty protection. According to this page, Bestway (parent company of the various Tobin Sports/ Hydro-Force/etc) lists "N/A" under warranties for boats:

Costco's website says "For manufacturer warranty information, please contact us." which is also weird. I'm going to drop them a line when I get a chance just out of curiosity.

Now, you can of course make a fuss and get Costco to accept returns on most things for a long time after purchase. But it never says much to me when a company won't stand behind their products for even 6 months.

Called Costco and they were like "No idea if it has a warranty, but we'll stand behind it. If you aren't happy in 3 months, 9 months, or two years, bring it back and we'll deal with it."

Now, I trust Costco and to be honest, that's probably easier than going through the warranty process with a sketchy company. But still, I dislike thinking of myself as someone who takes advantage of companies that have generous return policies. That said, I suspect I would in this case. They are choosing to sell something that apparently doesn't have a warranty, so I wouldn't feel bad asking them to make good on their promise.
