Inexpensive bulk fly box for hairwings?

Steelhead
I've tied and amassed a gross or two of summer steelhead flies (hairwings, muddlers, soft hackles) and I've decided I don't like the "giant hairball in a drawer" method for the flies that haven't made the cut in my working box. Trying to look for a larger box that won't crush hackles and wings on flies size 2ish-9. The "proper" brands have boxes that would likely work, but they are really expensive. Aventik seems to be on the right track, but their boxes seem to be geared to trout sized flies, and all the boxes seem to be "slim".

I have a lot of the big Aventik boxes.
They have ~ 1/2" between the top of the foam and the lid, if that helps. The foam is another 1/4" thick
That's a pretty big wiggler tied on a #2 8089 bass bug hook with 6mm foam on top; about the biggest fly that'll fit inside

I'm going to line some cigar boxes with foam and use them as nice fly boxes. I have the materials but haven't made one yet though.

Those Aventik boxes.are great! Not the most sturdy for sure (I've crushed a couple....), but their design is like no others available that I've seen.
