I'm posting with little to no info to go on other than a screenshot of an instagram post from @SpawnFlyFish that my friend sent to me.

Anyone have more info about what's affected? Doesn't sound or look good at all

I thought it was more "breaking news" so hadn't thought to googler up some articles.

that would explain the dense billowing smoke...plastic rope and styrofoam floats

Saw that on the news last night. I was wondering, how the hell does a bunch of crab pots catch fire? Must be next to a warehouse or some such structure that was vulnerable to fire.

That looks like the old Bumblebee plant

It's Bornsteins plant. They have several facilities in Oregon, Washington and in Alaska. Small family business started by the dad, and now the two sons run it. Very nice family.
Warehouse had waxed liner but no news yet how it started. Going to miss the Dungeness Crab season that just started.

Haven't been on here in a while getting all caught up! ATF has not released their findings yet but it does not to appear to be anything criminal! It's going to have a lasting impact on our community for years and years to come. Very sad for everyone involved but beyond impressed by the support from people all over the state to ensure the crabbers are back on their feet and were ready to go for opening day!
