I have that kit too but bought the knockoff from Alibaba for $35 with the arm, pivoting head and base. Works great. It’s heavy though fyi. You can also whip up a quick plate to mount the transducer using the motor mount in your kit, a nylon strap with the little alligator clamps to tighten quickly and strap it around one of the float.Beyond the great options suggested, I built a system with Scotty parts. This is what I used for an Outcast Scout. https://scotty.com/product/341-glue-on-mount-pad/. https://scotty.com/product/141-kayak-sup-transducer-arm-mount-w-gear-head-adapter-3/. https://scotty.com/product/no-368-universal-sounder-mount/. There may be a few other parts but is easy to build out. When I get back from my trip this week, I can send pictures of the completed mount if you need them.
Pictures would be great and thank you!Beyond the great options suggested, I built a system with Scotty parts. Here are some pictures of the assembly that I use. When I get back in town next weekend, I will send a picture of it assembled on the tube. The mounting bracket fits into the glue-on pad and holds the transducer arm which extends and the Garmin Striker 4 mount. I updated this year to the Nocqua small battery.Pictures would be great and thank you!
