Did our yearly trip in Idaho, only 4 days this summer. River was quite low, more people midweek than have seen before. We came back on Saturday to get away from the influx. Small cold front came in last night, so fishing was good the days before.
Overslept every day so fished mid morning, late afternoon and at dusk, except one day i practiced my nymphing early afternoon. The seams were to far away so used a foam indicator, caught my 2 largest trout, I know I missed a lot more. Bead head prince and a bead head black hares ear.
The rest all came to a 14 Parachute Adams, it showed up nicely in the dark at dusk, which was fast, consistent fishing. Best night for 90 minutes fishing was 10 in net, numerous dinks that luckily I could lose.
