Idaho Lake

I just finished up my annual Idaho lake trip.

The fishing wasn’t red hot, but everyone had plenty of bent rods.

Most of the fish caught were in the 18”-20” range.

A few bigger fish were caught.

Most of the fish were caught on some type of leech pattern. My best fly was a purplish/red leech.

Already looking forward to my 2025 trip.

The fish population is only 25% of target. Its just really poor right now but the flip side is that you can still catch a 6-8# fish on a given day.

Nice boat! I gave my 16 ft Klamath to my son and he uses it for crabbing on Whidbey Island. Replaced it with a 16 ft Smokercraft.
