I have had 2 Mustangs, a 1966 ragtop and a 1972 fastback red, white and blue. When my Mitsubishi Montero Sport blew an oil ring, I started looking for a replacement SUV. Some of my friends are in law enforcement suggested a vehicle like what they drive. I went for it with a V-6, not the V-8 interceptor. Good solid SUV that has 16mpg in town. It is a loaded Limited. More solid than the 1978 Pontiac Firebird TransAm 6.6 4speed sitting in the storage yard.

Just finished an Oregon road trip, down the coast, redwoods, crater lake, bend, hood river and waterfalls, driving a grand highlander. 31.2 mpg

Dual. Toyota seems to have the dual gas/hybrid nailed. Presumably the battery lasts about twice as long as the straight hybrid. And there’s no shortage on power when you need it, as in passing. We bought it for road trips.
