Very sorry to see that Jane passed, but I guess no one gets out of here alive. However, on a positive note, with her gentle ways, just imagine how many people she inspired to the good work. Thousands I’d guess. I can replay some of her documentaries in my head, at least partially.
An outstanding human. If there is a heaven, surely she is there.

In one of Larson's anthologies (my wife and I have a VERY thorough collection), he mentions that he received a very unhappy message from the Jane Goodall organization when this comic was first published. He was concerned that he had offended someone whom he greatly admired. But he was later contacted by Jane Goodall herself who was delighted at the comic. I believe that she got permission from him to use it in a fund-raiser. A ground-breaking scientist who transformed into a critical environmental advocate.

Thats why I love this signed copy. Badass woman with a sense of humor.

Dad skips out on kid/family. I don't see the racism.

Realism maybe. Dead beat dads are real.

Funny, that never even occurred to me. It is pretty sad though.
It didnt occur to me either. I was looking at funny jokes about children who have parents in the armed services! Clearly kid is waiting very patiently for their Dad to come home from deployment. Atleast.......................thats what I assumed was going on!

Interpretation. We each have our own.

Some people have racist thoughts that first come to their minds. I thought about dead beat dads.

It seems the actual poster had neither one of those thoughts.

WTF is wrong with you? Blatantly racist.
Put me on ignore Yardi. If you don't get it then chances are we are not going to be buying each other a drink anytime soon! Your Niners are 4-1 right now. WTF you have to be so sensitive about anyway?

We should be blasting jokes about the LA Rams right now.

And of course Jerry Jones, he's never off the table.
