The butcher hands the lady a chicken on a piece of waxed paper.

She sniffs under the legs; she sniffs under the wings; she sniffs the cavity; she sniffs the neck end. Finally she looks up and with a raised voice says: Butcher! This chicken stinks!

The butcher looks back at her, and in a calm voice asks: Lady - could you pass a test like that?

He knocked on the cathouse door, and when the madame answered he said: :"Lady - your sign fell down."
