As someone who grew up in Pierce County and had fair days every year at school, I can relate. It will always be the Puyallup Fair.

Sort of funny and gud timing. I just spent a few days with my bil who flies high altitude balloons, with one of the few amateur clubs worldwide. So far his record is 325 days with 14+ circumnavigations. There are interesting logistics you and I probably wouldn’t think of.
For instance, the navigation tracking and communication module is under 2oz (iirc), probably half the weight of the phone I’m holding. These balloons barely float at ground elevation and look like grandma’s tit inverted (my interpretation) until they get to full at maybe 40,000 feet.
