I was once told by a park ranger that bears could actually read (recognize) the word "Coleman" and associate it with a cooler filled with food, and it could initiate them to bust open your car to get to it. A few weeks later I saw a "Coleman" pop up camper trailer that had been destroyed by a bear. The bear must have assumed that it was the largest "cooler" that he had ever seen.
