The tip is glued and rough planed.......looking more like a tip section! The butt or maybe mid section is glued and clamped. Planning/building as I go.......never know what will come out of my shop!

No sneak peeks yet Mike....but made some decent progress this weekend. 7’2” one piece twin scarf......dark stain next??? Truly one of a kind.....I guarantee!!

The scarfs are done, first coat of American Walnut stain wiped on. Starting to look fishy!

It’s finally done......Ray Lee twin band seat, swelled mortised grip, hex to quad scarf, agate stripper, translucent gold wrap with a single black band. Too dang windy today to cast/fish.....

The wind calmed down to about 15-20 so I lawn cast it......besides fighting the wind, this rod is pretty soft and whippy! Seems like a 10” trout will make a pretzel outta it.......next to a lake!
