HRQ is no longer a virgin! 64 trout C&R’d and kept one huge crappie all sight casting midge emergers! It performed better than I thought, casts fine and no sets.....now for some bigger fish.....

Yes it’s insane.....but I C&R’d over 100 two other times on this lake! Nothing big but eager takers in the shallows sight casting.....only thing better is bigger fish! But you won’t find me complaining! 17 miles from my house.....

That's cool Steve. Nice rod. I'm still looking for my first crappie and bass this year. The lake I've been fishing is 3mi. away. Hard to leave fish to go find them, especially with gas prices.

So true Tom.....but sometimes you have to drive to the fish. 87 miles west from home I hammered the bass with a black leech, ‘66 Phillipson 7’6” 5 wt fiberglass casting to shore.

2/10 sight casting emergers this evening.....one was around 15” and put a helluva bend in it!

Here’s a couple more crappies that even Bill Dance would approve! From a local wet side lake....and my largest sunfish ever! Caught with bamboo on a damsel nymph casting to shoreline cover.

I got it we put it in your fish counter. Looked at that other lake Friday and it's improving, might go that way Monday.
