For many reasons, mostly weather, this was my first day fishing this year. I drove up to the ranch yesterday and got ready for this morning. I headed to one of our favorites on the advice of the Oracle @Scott Salzer. He was spot on, no sooner than I’m just a bit away from the launch and I’m into a hog, yeehaw! @Tim Lockhart, are you listening?
The morning continued like that including a freshly planted brownie. What a start to my season. Not much to tell, but a few pics to show. Fishing is off to a good start and the Spring Fling is right around the corner. Now two of our favorites need to ice off…

Excellent, those fish have some shoulders. Nice to see quality fish coming out of that lake, it’s been somewhat meager the last few years.

PS. I still need to bring ya a couple chunks of wood to the house,upon your return. I haven't forgot. just crazy busy ;)
