Hello, I drove up the Hoh yesterday and it was my first time back in nearly 15 years and it has changed a bit... I was wondering if anyone can share available shuttle services for the Hoh and decent put ins and take outs for an intermediate rower.

Thanks and if anyone wants to join me let me know.

Morgan’s Crossing to Oxbow. Be aware of the Class II + drop right before the takeout. Not for beginners.
Oxbow to Cottonwood. Go check out the takeout to be sure you can get to the river.
Cottonwood to Barlows (Near Oil City) check the takeout for access!
A lot of people take out at the sawmill on the S side but I never have.
These runs will all go if you’re in the right channel. Sweepers everywhere. If you’re in the wrong channel you’ll be dragging or lining or SOL over a logjam.
Post how it goes if you go!

I haven't floated it this late spring/summer but spent a fair amount of time hiking and doing walk wades. I can confirm as of two weeks ago Barlow access gets you to the main channel and works for low down take out, I accessed there and hiked up/down payment lock box on left as you pull in, $5, follow the path and tracks. Also if you want a nice short float you can do Morgan's to Minnie's, there is a steep take out just below Minnie's that works for inflatables. Ditto on the channels and braids as always watch out for wood in the water.

I should add at Barlows you'll want 4wd, it's not nasty but just incase, keep the momentum on the looser areas, I had no problems whatsoever but you never know I guess. At 1100 feet on the Guage there will be a small channel riffle crossing about 2-3 inches deep before you reach the river.
