I bought the butt and mid sections of this rod back in 2005 off eBay. I took years to find tips for it. Two are from a rod I bought, non Leonard but very similar taper and a blank from a Zhusrod set.
I bought Super Z ferrules for the tips and a female for the mid so they all fit the rod.
Yeah it’s a parts rod but it casts incredibly well and being a three tip set offers security if one gets broken. The ferrules fit very well and all “pop” when pulled apart.
The reel seat is beautiful and has the original owners name etched into it “FW Emery” and 9 2 - 5 above the Leonard Tournament stamped Sheild.
I wrapped the tips to match the mid and butt section, made a new bag for the set and it fits the brass capped tube well.
The rod casts a 5 weight line very well!
I’m asking $350 for the rod and will ship if needed. If shipped I’m charging $25 plus the insurance whatever that amounts to. The $25 is for an Apple Air Tag and once I see the Air Tag is on its way back, I’ll refund the $25 to your PayPay account.
