Hey hey,
I recently added to the line up with a 7wt 11'6" switch rod. In the process of learning how to cast it. It's gotta Rio switch chucker on the reel. Q is how long a sink tip and then leader for best performance? Getting ready for some unicorn hunting.

I’d run a 7’ tip on a chucker, for ease of casting and to not overload the rod. Then again the chucker isn’t too heavy of a head and could accommodate a 10’, but it would make for a longer sweep on the 11ft rod to build your d loop.

Then run a 3-4ft leader off that.
