I have noticed this the past few years... trying to make everything 'extreme' I have had 3 or 4 advisories the past few months for... heavy rain? Frost? Now summer temps and river water that may be cold...

My policy is to pick an extreme and limit your bitching to that. You should not be allowed to complain about the porridge being too hot AND too cold. This policy should especially apply to television news anchors and weather broadcasters.

Ever notice how he seems much less happy and upbeat about it these days?
I know for a fact the me and hot weather do not get along very well. I noticed the last day we were in the mid 80's, I was about as weak as a new born kitten. I just plod along. Ever since I got old I've become a wimp. And I really don't like that feeling. Monday and Tuesday of next week are supposed to be in the mid 80's. Having a family picnic on Monday. Gonna have to sit in the shade with a fan on me. And I used to like to sit in the sun. Not so much any more.

Who would have thought it get’s hot in summer time? Even ~10 years ago when I was living in Seattle, if it got into the 80’s it was described as warm. It snowed ~10” in town in Jan in 2011 I believe, it was chalked up to the fact it was winter. Not an agenda by the news channel to get ratings.

I am going to go there. As a rather serious gardener for 45-50 years i pay a lot of attention to weather checking daily. Climate change is in our front yards giving us a taste of volatility to come.
