heading to Lenice tomorrow

Life of the Party
plan to fish from 9-3. driving a green Jeep GC. green fishcat pontoon on the water. I throw lefty. if you're there, maybe our paths will cross.
pretty sure this is my first trip there this year. I had achilles surgery in January and it really messed up my fishing. all is good now.

what a gorgeous day to be on the water. and the fish cooperated too. its unfortunate that the fish remain on the small size in this lake. you might get a fish that pushes 16 inches, but most of them are the garden variety 12 inchers. the great thing is that they will attack almost anything. stripping an intermediate line anywhere in the lake will produce strikes or a fish. they are not picky, so throw what you like to throw and they will respond.
only 5 people on the lake, with two of them in boats and chiro fishing- and they did well too.
probably done with this lake for the season.

Fall is coming and the weather is changing. tight lines everyone and thanks for the well wishes.

I guess I should have joined you fishing Lenice as my luck was different, I went 0 for 3 takes with one of those on briefly. Different lake, different day, different angler. Glad you had a good day fishing. (btw: my friend Richard managed six fish landed to my zero, all were small and I don't think any of them made 12".)
 
It's the luck of the draw Pat. Last week I had a great day on a lake on Wednesday and probably out caught my buddy Scott. On Thursday we fished another lake and I out caught him again with 9 fish but none more than 11"! Meanwhile he was landing some high jumping monsters and I never touched a big fish all day. Tomorrow I'm fishing with my friend Freestone and she always out catches me. I'll try to break the jinx...
