NFR Happy World UFO Day

Non-fishing related
Possibly so. If I'm not mistaken, "anti-gravity" is essentially the same as "warp drive" since what we experience as gravity is negatively curved space. Having a technology that can positively and negatively curve (warp) space around a craft, could in theory, allow it to travel faster than light. You just need an energy source on the order of an exploding star to drive it.

Worm holes????

It might not be real, but is interesting to watch. I spent a lot of time off the S/F Stilly in the woods fishing those little blue lines. I never ever seen anything like a BF. But I found some nice small skinny water that has fish in them.

In junior high school two friends and I saw a ufo. It was moving slowly, fairly low (1000’). We were under a shelter, I got up and walked to the edge, then the field was lit up in a quick scanning pattern. I was just in the shadow of the roof, I always wonder what might have happened if I had been illuminated. It continued past in silence.

in late 99 my coworker and i were driving into work at Fort Irwin around 5 am. As we cleared a small pass on Fort Irwin Road, we were suddenly face to face with 4 very very bright lights drifting southwest towards Helendale airport. And they weren't over an open manuever area.

Both of us being wartime veterans and him being a former NG who was crew cheif on a former WA lady governors helicopter, we waited for the sounds of helicopters, didnt hear anything. No sounds of artillery, no sounds of airplanes. No smoke either so they werent tube launched or aircraft dropped flares. Just these very bright lights soundlessly drifting in the wind.

We werent the only ones who saw them, and pretty much the entire Fort Irwin was talking about it. For the rest of the week. You know, big excitement for semi isolated desert towns type of stuff.

Helendale airport is run by JPL and is off limits to everyone except those who have special access. Blink and you'll miss it it as you drive by, unless they have something going on.

Twice we got stopped by Federal Security guards in unmarked white Jeep Chrokees while on Old Hwy 58 going back to the corporate rental in Silver Lakes. Both times they told us, You didnt see that. Never knew what they were talking about because we hadnt seen anything anyway.

Same time frame, but like early November of 99, was fishing off the dock outside the house. Ever get that feeling somethings wrong or that you need to turn around?

For some reason, I stopped in the middle of my back cast, and turned back to the west and then for some reason, looked up... creepiest thing i ever saw. A white launch contrail that suddenly bloomed into a round rainbow colored cloud... with white trails headed downward. Rut Rho Raggy... we launched a missile...

Turns out what i saw was an anti ballistic missile test launch from Edwards that hadn't been all that widely publicized..

To this day, we still dont know what those lights were. Even our friends who still live there dont know.

It was unidentified when I saw it. About 1989 I think. A large bright disc appeared in the evening sky coming from over the hills just east of Sauk Mountain. It passed overhead and continued south by southwest until it was out of sight. I thought, "Wow!" , we just saw a UFO. I finally learned that it was part of a satellite falling back to earth, and whatever was left of it landed near a beach in Oregon. So it was identified, and I didn't see a UFO after all. Darn.

Sasquatch is a whole nuther story. I've never seen one and am skeptical of the lack of physical evidence. This was all explained by a guy named Rich G. on another forum. He claims to have seen two on the OP. The reason we don't find dead sasquatch carcasses, bones, or scat or other convincing evidence is because Sasquatch is inter-dimensional. That is, they pass through dimensional portals into and out of our world, so they are only seen by us when they want to be seen or don't care if we see them. But most of the time they live in another dimension that is invisible to us, and that other dimension is where all the evidence also resides. Makes perfect sense. No wonder we can't find them or any physical evidence when we try, and it's impossible to refute a story involving alternate dimensions.

Haha oh ya, Rich G, um yeah that guy, wasn't something supposed to happen on Tuesday!

Thats right, I remember the jackass...
Tuesday...
Bigfoot poops at the event horizon so all the stools are crushed to singularity.

It all makes sense, if you're an idiot...

Wasn't there a guy back about 20 years ago who said he shot and killed one because it attacked him while he was hunting???

For fun the family and I watched the documentary Phenomenon as a final tribute to UFO day.

Holy crap, guess I live under a rock but I had no idea about all the stuff that has happened around the world.

The documentary didn't include info on Bigfoot, though...that was kind of a bummer ;)
