After fishing for fifty years I had never heard of "Still water fly fishing". I was living at our southern border when I decided to move to our northern border. I soon learned about Pass Lake, and promptly got Tim's book. ( I still learn something every time I re-read it). A few years ago I announced that I had caught a yellow perch at Pass Lake,,,people were skeptical, but I believe Tim posted a photo shortly after that, and proved me too be correct. Perhaps the only photo of a yellow perch caught at Pass Lake ( thank goodness) . Anyhoo.... Happy birthday Tim Lockhart,,,You significantly impacted the life of this avid angler years ago. Many trout with ripped lips probably wish you were never born ( just kidding).
